Declarations: Who You Are In Christ and Who Christ Is In You
I have often asked God to show me who I am in His sight and what He sees in me. Why did He pick me with all of my faults, flaws and failures? Then one day when I started declaring the scriptures, God showed me that my answer had been there all along, in His Word and in my mouth - His scripture.
By declaring God’s Word aloud over yourself you will know who you are in Christ and who Christ is in you. This is only a portion of what Gods sees when He looks at you!
The Lord God says:
What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do. – Isaiah 46:11b (New International Version)
Read these declarations out loud and watch what God will do. I am Gods workmanship, created in Christ unto good works. Eph 2:10 I am a new creation because I am in Christ. 2 Cor. 5:17 I am made in His likeness and to rule over the earth. Gen 1:27-28 I am a spirit being alive to God. I Thes 5:23; Rom. 6:11 I am a believer, a light of the world and the light of the Gospel shines through me. 2 Cor 4:4,Matt 5:14 I am a doer of the Word and not just a pew sitter and blessed in my actions. James 1:22,25 I am an over-comer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. Rev. 12:11 I am an ambassador for Christ. 2 Cor. 5:20 I am part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people. 1 Peter 2:9 I am alive with Christ and I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. Eph. 2:5, Phil. 2:5, 2 Cor 5:21 I am the head and not the tail; I am above only and not beneath. Deut 28:13 I am His elect, Gods chosen, full of mercy, kindness, humility, and longsuffering. Rom. 8:33; Col. 3:12 I am forgiven of all my sins and washed in the Blood. Eph.1:7 I am delivered from the power of darkness and translated into Gods kingdom. Col. 1:13 I am redeemed from the curse of sin, sickness, and from the spirit of poverty. Gal. 3:13; Deut. 28:15-68 I am firmly rooted, built up, established in my faith and overflowing with gratitude. Col. 2:7 I am called of God to be the voice of His praise. 2 Tim.1:9; Ps. 66:8 I am healed by the stripes that Jesus suffered for me. 1 Peter 2:24; Is. 53:5 I am raised up with Christ and seated in heavenly places. Col. 2:12; Eph. 2:6 I am greatly loved by God. Col. 3:12; Rom. 1:7; 1 Thes. 1:4; Eph. 2:4 , 1 John. 3:3 I am strengthened with all might according to His glorious power. Col.1:11 I am submitted to God, and the devil flees from me because I resist him in the Name of Jesus. James 4:7 I press on toward the goal to win the prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling me upward. Phil.3:14 It is not I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Gal. 2:20 I am complete in Him Who is the Head of all principality and power. Col. 2:10 I am free from the law of sin and death. Rom. 8:2 I am far from oppression, and fear does not come near me. Isa. 54:14 I am holy and without blame before Him in love. 1 Peter 1:16; Eph. 1:4 I have the mind of Christ and I put on the full armor of God daily. 1 Cor. 2:16, Eph. 6:11 I am more than a victor and more than a survivor because I am more than a conqueror through God. Rom. 8:37 I have received the power of the Holy Spirit to lay hands on the sick and see them recover, to cast out demons, to speak with new tongues. I have power over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm me. Mark 16:17,18; Luke 10:17,19 I have the peace of God that passes all understanding. Phil. 4:7 I have the Greater One living in me; greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world. 1 Jn. 4:4 I have received the gift of righteousness and reign as a king in life by Jesus Christ. Rom. 5:17 Gods plans to prosper me are being fulfilled with a hope and a future. Jer. 29:11 I have the spirit of prosperity poured in from God that saturates every part and area of my life that everything I touch prospers and God prospers the work of my hands. 3 Jn 1:2, Deut. 28:1-14, Ecl. 3:13:5:19, Mal. 3:8-10, Deut. 8:18 Phil. 4:19, Gen. 12:1-3, Gal. 3:13,14 I have asked for and received wisdom and the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus, the heavenly eyes of my understanding are now opened. James 1:5, Prov. 2:6, Eph. 1:17,18 I have put off my old self and have put on my new self, which is renewed in the knowledge after the image of Him Who created me. Col. 3:9,10 I have given, and it is given to me; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, men give into my bosom. Luke 6:38 I have no lack for my God supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil.4:19 I can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one with my shield of faith. Eph. 6:16 I shall do even greater works than Christ Jesus. Jn. 14:12 I have the anointing of God poured all over my life. Heb. 1:9, 2 Cor. 1:21, 1 Jn. 2:20, 27 I show forth the praises of God Who has called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9 I am Gods child for I am born again of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God, which lives and abides forever. 1 Peter 1:23 I have been chosen by God and adopted as His child, holy and dearly loved. Eph. 1:3-8, Col. 3:12 I am a child of God and a joint heir with Jesus, sharing His inheritance with Him. Jn. 1:12, Rom. 8:17 I am a temple of God. His spirit and his life lives in me; I am not my own. 1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19 I am a Saint and God's co-worker. 2 Cor. 6:1 Eph. 1:1 I am one of God's living stones, being built up in Christ as a spiritual house. 1 Peter 2:5 I have been given exceedingly great and precious promises by God by which I share His nature. 2 Peter 1:4 I can always know the presence of God because He never leaves me. Heb. 13:5 God works in me to help me do the things He wants me to do. Phil. 2:13 I can ask God for wisdom and He will give me what I need. James 1:5 As a disciple, I am a friend of Jesus Christ. Jn. 15:15 I am a citizen of Heaven and I have been justified. Phil. 3:20, Rom. 5:1 I am united with the Lord, and I am one with Him in spirit. 1 Cor. 6:17 I have been bought with a price, and I belong to God. 1 Cor. 6:19-20 I am a member of Christ's body. 1 Cor. 12:27 I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins. Col. 1:13-14 I have direct access to God and to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ. Eph. 2:18. Heb. 4:14-16 I may approach God with freedom and confidence. Eph. 3:12 I am assured that God works for my good in all circumstances. Rom. 8:28 I am free from condemnation and from any condemnation brought against me, and I cannot be separated from the love of God. Rom. 8:1:2, 31-39 I am accepted and I have been sanctified by the Truth of His Word. Eph. 1:6, Jn. 17:17 I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God. 2 Cor. 1:21-22 I am hidden with Christ in God. Col. 3:1-4 I am confident that God will complete the good work He started in me. Phil. 1:6 I have Gods favor around me that opens doors of opportunity for me daily. Prov. 8:35,12:2,31:4. Ps. 30:5 I have not been given the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7 I am born of God, and the evil one cannot touch me. 1 Jn. 5:18 I am the branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and a channel of His life. Jn. 15:5 I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit. Jn. 15:16 I am a minister of reconciliation for God. 2 Cor.5:17-21 I have Gods blessings that chase me down and over take me daily. Deut. 29:2 I am blessed in my coming and in my going. Deut. 28:6 I have been given the keys of the kingdom, whatever I bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. I loose ALL the natural and supernatural blessings that God has for me Mat 16:19 I have ALL power and authority of heaven in me through Christ Jesus who lives and dwells in me. Mat. 28:18 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Phil. 4:13 These signs will accompany me I cast out demons, lay hands on the sick and they are healed and raise the dead. Mark 16:17-18, Heb. 6:2 I am Gods witness and He is my testimony. 2 Tim. 1:8-10 Gods promises are yes and amen! 2 Cor. 1:20 AMEN!!!
This list of declarations isn’t a list of what we are to live up to, or try to earn or achieve but it is a list of what we can expect God to do in us, to us, with us, for us and through us by His grace if we will be obedient, loving God whole heartedly with fear of the Lord with a willing heart. THE MORE YOU REAFFIRM WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST, the more your behavior and your character will align with Gods and you will begin to reflect your true identity! Just imagine what God will accomplish with your help if you were to read this out-loud daily!
