What God Does For Others, He Can Do For You

Updated: Jun 30, 2021

When God created the Heavens and the Earth, He created every living thing to have seed in itself and to reproduce. Let’s look at Genesis 1 verses 11 and 12:

"Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good (New International Version).

God created plants and trees to produce according to their kinds. So God commanded them to be created, and subsequently they reproduced. We also see in Genesis 1 verses 20 to 25, and verse 28 that every living thing God created, he created to reproduce its kind. All this indicates that when God does anything for anyone, He is not limited. He can reproduce every living thing; He can reproduce every healing, every blessing, every gift, every open door, every miracle, every answered prayer, and every miracle of provision.

The Bible records many instances where Jesus showed up somewhere and multitudes came, the Word of God says that Jesus healed THEM ALL. That’s right, Jesus did not run out of miracles, he continued healing till He healed all who were present and needed healing. Apart from healing, provision and other forms of God’s intervention also take the same form; God has enough to go round! What He does for one, He can do for all.

Let us take a look at the feeding of the thousands.

The Miracle of the Seven Loaves and a Few Small Fish

This miracle can be found in Matthew 15:32-38:

32 Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.”33 His disciples answered, “Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?”34 “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked.“Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”35 He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. 36 Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. 37 They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 38 The number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children. (New International Version)

In verse 32 we see that Jesus said “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.” Jesus is a compassionate God and savior. When you have been with Him for a while, He will ensure that you do not go away hungry and empty lest you collapse on the way (become discouraged or fall back into the world).

He will make a way for you and provide for you even if it takes a miracle you have never seen before. It is important to be with Jesus. The first step is to surrender to Jesus and make Him the Lord and savior of your life. If you would like to do so you can pray the Salvation Prayer HERE.

The second step to being with Jesus is to sit at His feet. You do this by studying His Word, spending time in the Word of God, and getting to Know Jesus. Jesus said in John 15 verse 7:

"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (King James Version )

See FOR NEW BELIEVERS, it will help you grow as a Christian and get established in the faith. Let's continue our study of the Miracle of Seven Loans and Small Fish - Jesus decided that even though the disciples said they had only seven loaves of bread and a few fish, He was going to feed the thousands of people who had been there for the past three days. So He asked the crowd to sit and He took the loaves and fish, gave thanks, and by His divine supernatural power, gave everyone a meal.

The Bible records in verses Matthew 15 verses 37 and 38:

"37 They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 38 The number of those who ate was four thousand men, besides women and children" (New International Version).

So God not only provided for thousands of people supernaturally, He provided for ALL of them. They ate and were satisfied and there were basketfuls left over. That is who God is and HE has not changed. God said in Malachi 3 verse 6:6 “For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob". (New King James Version)

What God did thousands of years ago, He can do for you today because He has not changed, and does not change. Similarly, what God did for someone else, He can do for you because He is the same God. Let us now look at the specific steps you can take to get the miracles that you desire replicated in your life.

1. Ask God.

Jesus was very clear in John 16 verses 23 and 24 when He said:

23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. (New King James Version).

When you see something in His Word that you want God to replicate in your life, simply ask in faith and He will do it. Likewise, if you hear of or see some miracle He has worked in someone else’s life, celebrate it and ask God to work it in your life; and ask in faith.

2. Offer Thanks From Your Heart

If you recall, in the miracle of seven loaves and fish (Matthew 15: 32 – 38), Jesus offered thanks and after that there was multiplication of the loaves and fish. If you see a miracle in the Word or in a person’s life and you desire such a miracle, to receive it do not scoff or have negative feelings like envy or bitterness towards the person’s miracle. Rather, rejoice for the person and for what God has done. Thank God from your heart for the miracle, acknowledge God as the doer, the miracle worker and ask Him to replicate and multiply it in your life. Thanksgiving produces multiplication.

3. Proclaim From The Word

When you are a child of God, you have the spirit of God (see Romans 8 verse 9; Galatians 4 verse 6; 1 John 4 verse 12 and 13). So because you have the spirit of God, when you declare God’s Word, Angels of God hear it as the voice of God, as if God Himself is speaking. Consequently, they go out and perform the Word of God.

Here is what the scripture says in Psalm 103 verse 20:

"Bless the Lord, you His angels,Who excel in strength, who do His word,Heeding the voice of His word." (New King James Version)

When a person declares the Word of God, the Angels of God “heed the voice of His Word”, this means they listen to the spoken Word of God and perform it. So if you want God to replicate or multiply any miracle in your life, search the scriptures and find the Word of God that declares that the miracle is yours, claim it and proclaim it out loud in the Name of Jesus and command it to come to pass in your life. Angels will listen to the spoken Word of God and perform it.

Do not stop proclaiming that Word till you receive your breakthrough. Remember! First things first, you need to make Jesus the Lord of your life. If you have not done so, you can do it right now where you are. Please pray the salvation prayer and begin a new life in Christ. God bless you.
